About Liesl

Meet Liesl�'�| a 5-month-old Rottweiler puppy who currently weighs 44 pounds. We expect her to grow to be between 80 and 100 pounds as an adult. Liesl came into rescue as a local owner surrender and is now getting the chance every puppy deserves - to learn, grow, and just be a dog. She does great with other dogs and would absolutely love a playful canine companion in her forever home. A large male would be ideal. Another dog will help her burn energy, build confidence, and be a role model. Liesl is already working on her basic commands and doing well, but she is still very much a puppy. She needs a family committed to raising and training her using positive reinforcement. Liesl is also doing well with potty training, though like any young puppy, she will need to be let out more frequently than an adult dog as she continues to learn. When her foster parents are gone, Liesl is kenneled. At night she upgrades to sleeping between her foster parents in bed. She will require a physically fenced yard where she can safely run and play. Liesl is the kind of puppy who will thrive in a home that understands large breeds and is ready to put in the time to raise her right. In return, she's going to be a loyal, loving companion who is always ready to be part of whatever her people are doing.
