About Haiku

Welcome Haiku from a small rural shelter in Taft, CA. We don't know anything about her backstory other than she was found as a stray and wound up behind bars. If you're looking for a golden retriever (minus the retrieving part) in a border collie suit, this is your girl. She's a love of all loves. She gives legitimate hugs and wants nothing more than to be by your side. She is people, kid, and dog friendly. She is a big time player, so it's key we match her with another equally playful dog�'�|or be an only with lots of opportunities to socialize. Cats, critters, livestock unknown at this time. She does get car sick but has improved with more conditioning and medication. Haiku is looking for an active, training-forward person or family to lead her from good to great.
