Hi, I'm Bolto! Yeah, like the movie dog - and trust me, I live up to the name. I'm a two-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix with 17 pounds of pure personality, and I am HERE for adventure. Yes, I am a bit of an escape artist. That's how I ended up here�'�|but can you blame me? No one paid me any attention. Now that I'm with people who give me the love I deserve, I want to stick around and I want a family to stick close to! But hey, an open door or gate can be tempting so my new family needs to be sure everything is always closed when I'm around. Now for more of the good stuff�'�|I'm affectionate, loyal, brave, and just a little bit hilarious. I love a good game of fetch or tug-o-war - especially with a willing dog sidekick! Speaking of which, I'd really love a dog sibling to share my adventures with. I play hard and love harder, so I'd do best with older kids who can match my energy. A securely fenced yard is a must for this athletic boy. I'm still working on my leash manners and can get a little spooked by loud noises, so patience goes a long way with me. I may already be housebroken, but I'll probably need a little refresher in a new home - no biggie! At the end of the day, you'll find me curled up on the couch and I will sleep there all night.
