One last 'hail mary' for Milo as he is slated for euthanasia *today* if no one steps up for him. And the saddest part? He was seized from his owner for not being provided proper shelter or access to food/water. So they took him away only to turn around and put him down at the shelter. That means this poor dog has never known what it's like to be a valued and loved member of any family. :'-( He is apx 3 y/o, 50 lb. Basenji / Carolina Dog mix. The shelter staff says 'Milo is unsure of the world right now. He's timid, skittish, and struggling to trust. (can you blame him?) With other dogs, he comes on strong-he postures, asserts dominance, and will mount. He's going to need slow, structured introductions and an experienced handler who understands behavior and is willing to put in the work.'
