About Avelina

At risk of being euthanized when the shelter gets over-capacity since am considered a longer-term dog here. I will then be dumped into a black trash bag..., as I didn't matter, disposable. I came to the shelter as an under-weight stray, but am filling out nicely. Was afraid at first when I came here, but with the help of the volunteers, no longer afraid as much. Am a favorite of the volunteers, which feels good, since not use to it, in my past life. I am pretty good with my sit, gentle type of doggie, not jumpy, relatively speaking am on the smaller side compared to a lot of the doggies here. I met some dogs on leash, boy and girl doggies, am polite, not pushy type. Like to snuggle with the volunteers, but sadly, not enough of that, since so, so many dogs here, not enough volunteers; am mostly all alone in my kennel. Please come meet me. Maybe take me home? Come. These dogs aren't 'just' at risk of being euthanized, very real risk, tragic on its own, but spend most of their time in their kennels, which is a tragedy upon a tragedy, to be locked up so much. It shows what great dogs they are, that they are able to still continue to be great, even though caged up so much. Please, come out.
