ANOTHER UPDATE and honestly, this is getting heartbreaking m Cardi is STILL waiting to be chosen. She sits there watching every other dog leave. Tails wagging people smiling lives beginning And Cardi? She gets left behind. Every single time. The only reason? She needs to be the only pet. But I KNOW those homes exist. I KNOW there is someone out there for her. A quiet home A soft couch A person who doesn't even realize yet that Cardi is the missing piece of their heart. She wore a Santa hat Sat surrounded by hearts for Valentine's Day. Waited by a pot of gold on St. Patrick's Day . Holiday after holiday came and went and now it's Easter. Still no one came for her. Peter Cottontail please |Come gather up this good egg and take her home. Because that's all she wants A home. A person. A chance. I truly don't understand. Not one application. Not one person has said 'yes' to this incredible girl. And it breaks me. Because Cardi is A+++Sweet, Loving, Gentle, Loyal, Housebroken, Crate trained, Walks beautifully on a leash, Spayed & fully vaccinated She is READY.No work. No fixing. Just LOVE. She has spent over a year waiting. Right now she is sitting in a cage 23 hours a day just hoping today might be the day her life begins. This is no life for a dog like her. Cardi is a 6 year-old angel who was pulled from the brink of euthanasia at a high-kill shelter. She was out of time and somehow she survived. But surviving isn't the same as living. She loves: Sunbathing , Car rides, Cuddling , Being close to her people She is the kind of dog that makes a house feel like home. She does need to be the only pet and best in a home with kids over 12. But in return She will give you everything. Loyalty. Love. Safety. Connection. Somewhere out there is her person. |The one who will look into her eyes and say: 'You're mine. You're safe. You're home.' Currently Cardi us in Laceyville, PA, she can be transported to neighboring states . URGENT - we need a foster or adopter ASAP Even a trial foster could save her life. Because if we don't find something she risks losing the only safe place she has. And we cannot let her end up back in a shelter. Please don't let her be overlooked again.Please share. Please help.
