About Ellie

Ellie is a very kind and loving dog with humans. She would be best in a home where she is the only dog as she does have trouble getting along with other dogs. She is currently in a home with one other dog and 2 cats; she likes to try to play with the cats but because of her size and energy, they think she is trying to attack her. In the home, there are also 2 young children that she absolutely adores and is protective of. She loves to be outdoors, play fetch and go for walks; she also likes any kind of dog toy for inside. She does not like loud noises (fireworks, thunderstorms, etc.). Ellie also has a strange fear of balloons. She is fully house trained, due for routine vaccinations in May 2026, and knows basic commands like 'sit' and 'stay'. We have loved having Ellie as part of our family for the last 6 years but due to personal changes, we feel finding her a loving home where she is the only family dog is in her best interest.
