About Ghost

Meet Ghost ��%90%BE Ghost is a 6-year-old pit bull who is incredibly sweet and loyal. He loves being around his people and thrives in environments where he feels calm, secure, and structured. We are looking to rehome Ghost because our current household has become too overstimulating for him. We've learned that he does best in a quieter, more predictable environment where he can feel safe and settled. To be transparent, some behavioral concerns have come up in our current home and are largely tied to overstimulation. Because of this, Ghost has reacted by growling-his way of communicating that he's uncomfortable or not feeling safe in certain moments. He has never bitten or attacked anyone. What's most encouraging is that when Ghost has been in a structured training environment with Texas Dog Father, he has thrived. During boarding and training, he has shown great behavior, responsiveness, and stability with very few incidents. Ideal home for Ghost: - Calm, low-stimulation environment - Structured routine and clear boundaries - A home with space to roam (large backyard, land, or farm setting preferred) - Not ideal for apartment living - An owner open to continuing his training journey - Only Dog (While he gets along with other dogs and has increased his social tolerance, we feel being the only dog will help w/ the low-stim environment he needs) Support included: - Ongoing support from us (his current owners) - Transition support and guidance from Texas Dog Father - Complimentary training services to help him adjust This decision comes from a place of love-we want Ghost to be in an environment where he can truly thrive.
