About Yoshi

Yoshi is an extremely sweet and loyal Goldendoodle who loves to play! We are moving internationally and unfortunately cannot take him with us, but we've had a great time with him so far! Fetch is his absolute favorite! Though he loves to run and play, he is also happy to snuggle up on the couch and watch TV at the end of the day. Yoshi is medium-high energy and loves chewing bones, chasing toys when we throw them, and his ball is his absolute favorite item. Usually Yoshi gets 2 exercise times each day: morning and afternoon. This can include throwing toys inside the house if the weather is bad, but usually involves going to the field near our house and playing about 10 minutes of fetch. He also loves a good game of ball ricochet, such as bouncing the ball around in our car port. Yoshi would do well in a home with adults or kids over the age of 5. He has never displayed aggression toward young children (or any humans for that matter), but given his energy level and lack of self-awareness, we advise caution. Yoshi can be reactive toward other dogs, so he may do best in a one-dog household. He thrives on ample stimulation, ideally in a home with a yard, or with an exercise buddy. I often attach his leash to my bike and he runs beside me. He does like to keep watch and barks at passerby, so he would do well as a guard dog, or otherwise in a home where he can't see the street. Yoshi happily enters his crate and waits for a treat when he senses we're headed out the door. He's very trainable! We've convinced him not to cross the line of tape on the floor separating our kitchen and dining room. He can sit, spin, jump, and roll over on command. Yoshi enjoys chew toys but is very respectful not to chew anything forbidden. He even avoids our shih tzu's (softer) toys. Yoshi is fully house-trained, neutered, up to date on all his vaccinations, and has no specific dietary needs. He's a sweet boy looking for a good home to love on him.
