We adopted Penny about three months ago, and during that time we've come to see just how sweet and loving she is. She has formed strong bonds with us and shows a very affectionate, gentle personality with the people she knows and trusts. As our work schedules have recently changed, we've realized that we're not able to provide her with the level of time, attention, and consistency she truly deserves. Penny thrives with routine and would benefit greatly from an environment where she can get more dedicated engagement, space, and stability. We currently live in an apartment, and we believe she would do especially well in a home with a backyard where she has more room to relax and play. She is very comfortable with women and warms up to them quickly. With men, she can take a little more time to build trust, but once she does, she is just as loving and affectionate. This has been an incredibly difficult decision for us because we care so much about her and know how special she is. Our goal is to find her a home that can give her the time, space, and consistency she needs to truly thrive and be her best self.
