About Cessily

At risk of being euthanized, when the shelter gets over-capacity, since am considered a longer-term doggie here and left by my human. If am a chosen one, will be dumped into a black, trash bag..., disposed of, with nothing left of me in the end, no one or very, very few will hold the memory of me in their heart of hearts. I am only about 2 years old, so have a lot of life yet to live, have lots of love yet to give. When I was left at the shelter by my human, I was skin and bones. Steadily, since finally being fed regularly, am filling out. The picture you see here of me, is me filled out, but still have some more filling out to do. With the help and love of the volunteers at the shelter, I am blossoming, since when I first came, was so scared, and so unsure of myself, I wouldn't even walk, had to be carried around like a baby, it was hard to trust the humans around me. Now I am more confident, like to run around the play yard and play, but sadly does not happen much, since only taken out of my kennel 2 times a week, for about 20 minutes. I am now very affectionate, like to snuggle, since am learning human hands can be kind. I am pretty good at sit, good on leash, not a jumpy type of doggie, and love my treats. For now, need to be the only doggie in the home. Please come meet me. Maybe take me home? I can keep on blossoming with you, not ever be starved again, with you, not be afraid ever again, with you. Come. These dogs aren't 'just' at risk of being euthanized, very real risk, tragic on its own, but spend most of their time in their kennels, which is a tragedy upon a tragedy, to be locked up so much of the time.
