We adopted Rossy from a high kill shelter (Maricopa county). He has been with us for about 6 weeks now and we have worked through most of his bad habits. Pros: He is a stunning and handsome boy. He was vet checked, neutered and microchipped. He does very well with kids of all ages and is very calm and settles nicely when at home. He walks great on a leash, does not pull or act aggressive towards people or other animals. He is truly very sweet and likes to snuggle on the couch. He doesn't bark excessively. He goes to the farmer's market and behaves great despite a lot of stimulation and allows everyone to come up, pet and interact w/ him. He is very typical of a German Shepherd in that he is fine with all people but really only wants and is excited about the humans from his household. Cons: He was picked up as a stray so we know nothing about his past. He seems to be around 18 months old. He is still a puppy so he needs toys and objects to chew on. He is a very sweet and very special boy. He has unfortunately been a strong trigger to my asthma symptoms. However, I will continue to take medication for this until we can find him the perfect home.
