About Stella

Spring is here- a time for new beginnings and that is exactly what Stella needs! Stella is hoping and praying for a new family to love. Stella is a beautiful and regal Mastiff & Pittie mix who has a beautiful brindle coat and is 3 years old and fully grown at 75 pounds. She lost her home when her owner had to move and couldn't take her so she's now living with a great Foster Mom in Suffolk County. She has been practicing her obedience commands and retrieving skills with a Trainer and is doing great! Like many Mastiffs, Stella has a low-medium energy level. She LOVES to retrieve and her foster mom was surprised to find out she also loves to take a bath. She's easy to live with because she she has a low to medium energy level. All she needs is someone to throw her ball for her for 15 minutes once or twice a day, the rest of the time she'll bask in the sun outside, or lay beside you and watch tv. She's very well-mannered and highly intelligent and fully housebroken. Stella is calm, polite and gentle AND her size and imposing appearance will make you feel very safe. Stella's ideal home would have a fenced yard so she can play and lounge in the sun to her heart's desire. She'd be happy as an only dog or with a large mellow male dog.
