About Ryko

Ryko is our golden boy here at the shelter :). This sweet boy came in as a stray- but unfortunately- no one has come to claim him :(. Ryko is a sweet boy- and even though his face is white- his spirit is puppy like- and never fails to go say hi to a stranger or run through the grass. This little old man is just a big baby that likes to be held and not necessarily walked. Ryko wants to be wherever you are- and he's everywhere you want to be! Do you think you could be this sweet boy's second chance at a home? He deserves to live out his years in a family that will not let him down and snuggled next to a warm body and not in an shelter. He holds it against no one that he is where he is- and his spirit is not dampened one bit. He has taught us a lot about resilience- and we know he can teach others too if given the chance :). Hello there the adoption fee is $20.00 CASH OR CHECK it is low as we do not spay/neuter our animals or vaccinate as we do not have a vet on site. Upon adoption you would sign a legal contract stating that within sixty days you will get them sterilized and vaccinated per state requirement. Sometimes due to age or complications the 60 day window can be extended however only by a vets discretion. Your contract is not fulfilled and your adoption of the pet cannot be successfully closed until proof of sterilization and vaccination is provided to us from the adopter.
