About Minnie Mae

This precious young coonhound mix named Minnie Mae needs a family as soon as possible. She was recently in the euthanasia list at a TN shelter and was taken into foster care to save her life. Minnie Mae is an active dog with a high energy level. She loves to run around and sniff and play with toys. She will need to have a fenced back yard to get her energy out. She is too strong on leash to manage. Minnie Mae appears good with other dogs and she does take a while to bond to new people, but once she does, she will love to snuggle. We think she would do well with a family who has active kids that like to play in the yard. We don't recommend toddlers only due to her size and she may knock them over.
