Dear Prospective Adopter, We hope you'll consider opening your heart and home to Baxter. He is an incredible dog, and while this is a very difficult decision for us, we are committed to finding him the perfect forever home where he can truly thrive. About Baxter: **Healthy, neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. **Housebroken and has excellent home manners. **Sleeps soundly. **Not a heavy shedder. **Medium energy-loves playtime but is equally happy lounging in the sun. **Enjoys toys and plays fetch (he even knows 'drop it'!). **Walks beautifully on a leash and responds to 'walk together'. **Rides calmly in the car. **Rarely barks-typically only to alert at the door. **Gets along very well with other dogs. **Comfortable in a crate when given toys. ________________________________________________________________________________ The right home for Baxter: Baxter is a loving, playful dog who sometimes misunderstands very young children and treats them like playmates. Because of this, he would do best in a home without very young children. Baxter would thrive in a home with an individual, couple, or family with older children. He needs a yard to play. He loves to take walks, ride in the car, and just 'chill'. He loves to play with other dogs and people! (We are not sure about cats) ________________________________________________________________________________ What comes with Baxter: We have every intention to make his transition to a new home as smooth as possible.
