Meet Sylvester Miami, Fl Sylvester is a very gentle, sweet, and sensitive little boy. He can be timid and shy at first, but with patience, understanding, and lots of love, he truly starts to open up and show his beautiful personality. Sylvester's story: . He was found dumped in the bushes near the University of Miami with a fractured hip. He has since had surgery to repair it and is now on the road to a full, happy life. Because of his past injury, Sylvester will need a calm and mindful home. He should not be jumping on or off couches, beds, or any high surfaces to prevent re-injury. A safe environment and a family who understands his needs will be key to keeping him healthy and thriving. He has been doing amazing with our two large foster dogs and has even started to follow and copy everything they do! Sylvester enjoys observing and being a quiet part of the action, taking everything in at his own pace. Because he is still gaining confidence, he needs to be approached slowly with gentle head scratches before being picked up-otherwise, he may scurry away. Once he trusts you, his sweet nature really shines. Sylvester has also been doing great on the leash and walks right alongside his person like a pro! With time, love, and a patient home, Sylvester will blossom into someone's most loyal and loving companion About Sylvester: 'ۢ Approximately 2 years old 'ۢ Yorkie/Chihuahua mix 'ۢ Weighs 12.6 lbs 'ۢ Dog-friendly 'ۢ Gentle, sensitive, and loving 'ۢ Requires a calm home due to previous hip injury * HIGH FLIGHT RISK Adoption Details %90 Our adoption fee is $550, which includes vaccines, neuter, and microchip.
