Belladonna came to rescue because her elderly momma could not care for her sweet pup any longer. Bella is at a healthy weight. It is deceiving though. She has Congenital Heart Disease and looks overweight. There is an incredible amount of fluid built up around her heart, lungs, and abdomen. She also has a severe heart murmur. Her medication is helping the fluid. She does not have any restrictions as far as daily life activities around the house. Long walks and rough activity is not recommended, but she doesn't do any of that at her age anyway. She would prefer to snuggle on the couch and get ear rubs for hours.
