Help! The Kern shelter rescue department contacted us to let us know this young, pretty girl was found on 3/25 as a stray, and ended up at their shelter where they are asking for help to find her placement asap due to being overfull. They have fondly named Mimosa, and estimated she is only 1 year young, weighs only 41 lbs and is a perfect size. She is sweet, and walks around in the play yard with many dogs- mostly ignoring them, allows them to greet her though in video they gave us. Please note her shelter picture does not do her justice. You can see Mimosa calm in her playgroup almost 3 minutes into the 15 minute video; https://youtube/Thfoebf4e0I We also have her medical notes to share which show a few abrasions that they cleaned and gave her Cephalexin for such. Mimosa is adoptable and may also be fostered locally. However, more likely, she needs rescue, and rescue groups need fosters to save as they need a place for a dog to go. . Mimosa is currently unspayed, but would be for a new home. She has been vaccinated.
