Meet Pearl, a 2 year old super affectionate orange girl. Pearl was given to about 6 months ago by a colleague who was unable to care for her. We initially planned to try to keep her, but simply put, we do not have the time she needs with our jobs and existing obligations. Nor do we have the current resources to put into another animals vet care, we are maxed out with the ones we have already. Pearl is a 'people's cat' she's mischievous, cuddly, and she adores attention. If you let her, she will put her paws on your chest like a baby to be picked up. She enjoys perching on her people's shoulders if allowed and will lay down across them while you walk around the house. Pearl does great around dogs but would prefer one that does not like to chase cats. Pearl will acclimate to a house with another cat but she does play a bit rough and can be dominant. Slow introductions would be suggested. This is a companion cat and would thrive in a home with someone who can give her all the time and love she needs. She would do best with a quiet spot somewhere high up where she can relax, and her own litter box if possible. Pearl is friendly with kids, and both men and women. We have not vaccinated Pearl, and she is not spayed. It is unknown whether she had prior Vet Care before we took her in. She displays no signs of health issues. Pearl has lived indoors her entire life, she has expressed no desire to go outside and we would prefer she remain an indoor cat. Adoption fee of $50 will be waived if intended adopter will show vet reference and proof of vet appointment for her vaccinations.
