About Whiskey von Delano

Whiskey von Delano is a happy and friendly 6-7 year old Husky/Shepherd mix. He is a playful and affectionate dog with a goofy, sweet personality. He enjoys greeting people and dogs, tail always in motion, and has an upbeat demeanor. He and his buddy Hennessy lived on a ranch but were given up when their prior owner could no longer care for them. The owner termed Whiskey a 'great dog,' friendly and loving, and said he was good with kids, dogs and livestock, but not small dogs; he's also not for cats. He weighs a bit over 50 lbs, so he's a very manageable size. He's a cute and fun boy who loves to be petted, enjoys playing with toys and is up for anything. He takes treats nicely and knows the Sit command. At the rescue, he meets other dogs well and walks happily along with them during group walks. He's a funny and sociable participant in playgroups.
