Bernie is a bundle of happy energy. He loves playing with the other dogs here at the shelter, but given the choice he would choose to play with a human who will give him love and time. At 2-3 years of age, and 60 pounds, Bernie still has a lot of big puppy left in him. His leash skills are improving and he's proving to be a nice trail companion. Bernie is friendly to all people. Because of his size and enthusiasm, he may be overwhelming to smaller children. Shelter life is no place for a boy with this kind of energy and need to play. Once Bernie finds his home and is secure in his loving family, he will be a delightful and trusting companion. Come meet this happy boy!
