About Saturn von Selbitz

Saturn von Selbitz is a stunning 3 year old German Shepherd. Saturn is a loyal, sweet and sensitive girl who bonds deeply once she has time to know you. She loves other dogs and is looking for a home with another dog or two. She does need confident people who provide consistency and secure leadership so she doesn't feel the need to watch over anyone. She isn't the type of dog who bounds up to everyone and everything; she is discerning and a bit reserved and prefers to take a little time before she'll approach and lick your hand and lean in for pets. She does well with people at the rescue, and can show a playful side. A smart, treat-motivated girl, she's a wonderful walker on leash who stays right by your side, often checking in for reassurance. She meets and walks well with dogs, has shared space with other dogs, does great in her canine playgroups and might give a little play bow to some dogs. (She's not for cats.) With the right calm and secure guidance, Saturn will be the most deeply devoted and loving companion.
