She originally came from a Police Dog Trainer who released her because they felt she did not have the temperament for that line of work. UTD on shots WITH record. Fixed. Good with kids. Good with dogs. Good with cats. House trained. Crate trained (but does NOT use a crate). Any known medical issues?: None known. Abuse/Neglect/Trauma History?: Yes-was left in a crate for the first 6 months of her life, resulting in some fear behaviors. ENERGY LEVEL: Medium. PREY DRIVE LEVEL: Low. Weighs 50 lbs. Currently on Kinetic Performance (Active Dogs formula). Good with car rides?: Yes. Socialized with: *people?: No. *dogs?: No. Good with meeting new people? (ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!): No-not aggressive, but has Stranger Fear and takes time to warm up. Proper, slow introductions are a MUST. Loves: Hikes, water, balls, sticks, running, ham bones, cuddling, walks, chilling on the couch, playing with kids, playing with dogs, fetch, sleeping in bed with her person, being near her person, puzzle toys, stuffies, and dental chews. *Intelligent and knows Basic Commands?: This breed is super intelligent. (Has had Basic Obedience training with a Certified Trainer). *Good Recall? (ALWAYS RETRAIN BEFORE ALLOWING OFF LEASH): Yes. *Good on a Leash?: Yes. *Lovable?: This breed is super lovable once they claim you as their person/family. *Eager and fast learner?: This breed is super fast learners when they are being committed to and worked with. Bite History?: None known. NOTES FROM CURRENT SHEPHERD PARENT: 'She's very loyal. Because she doesn't like strangers she makes an excellent guard dog. She loves riding in my jeep with the top down or her head out the window. Her favorite thing to do is go hiking in the woods, play in the creek and have a place where she can full out sprint. I can take her off leash and she will recall most of the time. Sometimes she gets wound up and wants to run past you but she has never run off. She'll lay down and wait for you to play with her.' Re Homing because�'�|: The Current Shepherd Parent sold her home and moved into a community that does not allow the GSD breed. Quest will be a great companion for the right person.
