Bertha is a beautiful, sweet, purebred black golden ticked British Shorthair. She is friendly, and does great with brushing and nail trims. She is overweight but has been doing well on a diet. Bertha is an indoor-only cat. I took her in about 4 months ago because her previous owners needed to rehome her due to having children. It was reported she had lived well with other cats previously, but in my home it has become clear she should be an only cat (I have two other cats and she does not appreciate their attention, even after careful introduction). She could do well with cat-savvy dogs who will not bark at or chase her; she does fine with my two labs, who more or less ignore her. Older children are probably fine--she should not be in a home with young children who will chase or be rough with her. I will provide some dry food that she is currently eating, and her toys, food bowls, bed, brush, carrier, etc. will come with her as well. Please contact me via email if you would like to learn more about Bertha! Adoption fee to simply cover vet exam where she got a clean bill of health. I will provide all records for her that I have including her vaccination records.
