About Shady

Shady is a gentle, soft hearted girl. She walks beautifully on leash with little pulling, making her an easy companion for relaxed strolls. Her sweet nature shines through the moment you start petting her�'�|especially if you give her the butt scratches she loves. She'll happily stay right by your side, soaking up the love for as long as you're willing to give it. She's a lower energy girl who's perfectly content to entertain herself. Shady takes treats gently and knows how to sit on command, though she can be a little skittish - she may flinch if she thinks she's done something wrong - so she'll do best with a patient, gentle approach that helps her build confidence. Despite her uncertainty, Shady is incredibly sweet and gentle. Shady came into the shelter as a stray alongside Prince A052658. They both had microchips but when we contacted their owner he said he'd given them two a friend two weeks before due to a move, but couldn't provide any of the friends information. He also couldn't take the dogs back himself. Now, Shady is ready to start over, and is hoping her next chapter is one filled with kindness, and love.
