About FERGY

Fergy is a true gentleman with a soft heart and a sweet story. For about a month, this handsome boy was seen running around near Ferguson's Home Store (which is how he got his name). He was a little unsure of people at first, but everything changed when a kind rescuer won him over with some irresistible beef liver. From that moment on, Fergy decided people might be pretty wonderful after all. In his rescuer's home, Fergy quickly showed his love for the simple comforts in life-especially a cozy comforter where he could relax and feel safe. He also enjoyed playing with the other dogs at the park, showing his fun and social side once he felt comfortable. Now at the shelter, Fergy continues to win hearts. He walks nicely on a leash and enjoys spending time with the volunteers who care for him. He has a calm, gentle way about him that makes you feel like you're in the presence of a very polite, very lovable companion. Fergie would likely be happiest in a home where he can settle in, feel secure, and-if he had his choice-have a nice soft comforter of his own.
