About Gus

Gus is a lovable poodle mix (poodle/husky/golden retriever), almost 3 years old and about 75-80 lbs. He has been with our family since he was 8 weeks old and has grown up with my 3-year-old son and two teenage daughters. He is gentle, affectionate, and loves being close to his people. Gus enjoys snuggling and has a funny habit of laying on his back with his feet in the air. He has been raised with two cats and does very well with them, and he is great with children of all ages. Gus is house-trained and used to a fenced yard. He does okay on a leash but would benefit from more practice. He knows 'sit' and may get excited and jump when meeting new people but settles quickly. He has a low to medium energy level and is happy playing or relaxing. He is food-motivated and may take food left out. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has no medical concerns. Due to unexpected financial changes and an upcoming move, we are looking for a safe and loving home for Gus.
