About Kirby

Location: Maineville, OH Meet Kirby ��%90%BE Kirby is a people dog through and through-but specifically full-size people. No offense to the tiny humans, but she prefers a calm, predictable environment where she's not being ambushed by chaos. In her foster home, Kirby has absolutely thrived. Give her an adult household, some structure, and a person to love, and she is all in. She loves to play, loves her people even more, and her foster mom is completely obsessed with her (understandably). Now, let's talk about other dogs. Kirby came in with some opinions, but with decompression, structure, and consistency, she's learning how to coexist without the commentary. She's not looking for dog friends, playdates, or a membership to doggy daycare-she's more of a 'we can exist in the same general area and that's enough' kind of girl. Her main thing? She loves her person�'�| and would prefer if no other dogs tried to get in on that. We've been working on it, and she's made great progress, but for her comfort, she'd do best as the only dog in the home. Oh...she has also declared windshield wipers enemy number 1 and will bark to make sure you are aware of the danger they pose when they are wiping. Kirby isn't complicated-she just knows what she likes: calm home, adult humans, attention (all of it), and a life where she can be your #1.
