About Pepper

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Meet Pepper a dainty little petite guy who I received into my private rescue due to owner disabled and aged;seeks kind gentle people,likes pets and doesn't mind older kids( he does not bite but because of his tiny size n gentle desires I don't recommend a home with little kids)Has all his known healthy teeth and a great appetite.Perfers indoors always except very quick potty breaks in the yard.He walks on leash but knows his boundaries on my mobile home lot and only goes out in yard n right back to door while I'm with him off leash,does not wander.He currently lives with small dogs and cats no issues and lived here with a gentle 73 lb dog.Pepper does have flea allergies so he MUST stay on prescription vet flea treatment..over counters and store brands do not work,also unknown if some itching is due partly to food allergies but this is not yet determined and no mites or worms as he is on annual dewormer preventative.Pepper has had aprox 4 mild seizures since he been here but they pass quickly and at the time he was seen by vet he had said to wait B4 putting him on anything yet and they are VERYY infrequent and he has had no known effects from them.He came only being trained to potty pads but although I keep one down he is now going out on a routine schedule with the others and almost no use of pad but occasionally when I'm asleep,his prior owner only had pad trained him.he will use that pad area and nowhere other in the home.He not a barker only a minute to alert you if he hears company or others on your porch and he is VERY DESERVING of his final forever home.he likes to wear a little t- shirt if cold or under a blanket and sleeps on my bedroom.He is being rehomed due to my very ill health and me needing to go into assistive living asap.He is an all around sweet natured boy and may be aprox 8 yrs of age but acts younger and my last Chihuahua lived til 22 1/2 yrs old still healthy but she couldn't have anesthesia at her age for a minor tx.
