Rowdy is estimated to be around 6 years old. His exact age is unknown since he was rescued from the side of the road. He is neutered, fully house trained, and current on all vaccines. Rowdy has been around teenagers (13-19) and has done well with them. I'm not sure how he would do with younger children. With other dogs, he may do best with balanced, respectful dogs. He didn't get along with a couple of mine, but with the right match he could do well. Rowdy enjoys relaxing and being close to his people. He's perfectly happy curling up on the couch, but he also enjoys getting out for walks and playing with a ball. He has a pretty easygoing personality and is content to follow your lead-whether that's a relaxing day at home or some time outside. He is clicker trained, e-collar trained, and walks nicely on a leash. Because he loves to explore, he should not be off-leash without an e-collar, as he may wander and take a while to return. Rowdy would do best in a home without cats or small animals such as bunnies or guinea pigs. His current living situation hasn't allowed him to be the happiest he could be, and I truly believe the right home will help him thrive. He really is a good boy who deserves a loving home where he can relax, play with his ball, and spend time with his people. I'm happy to continue helping with e-collar training for anyone who adopts him. I'm an open book about Rowdy, so please feel free to reach out with any questions. He deserves the very best. Don't let his age fool you-he's a laid-back guy who's just as happy lounging on the couch as he is going out for a walk. He cannot be unattended in a home or a vehicle without being kenneled.
