About Lily

Lily is a 3.5-year-old, 30lb beagle mix with lots of love to give. Spayed, up to date on vaccines, & in great health. We will provide all medical records plus current flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Lily has been a wonderful companion in our home-she is affectionate, playful, and happiest with her people. With a moderate energy level - she loves spending time outdoors, going for walks, & curling up for cuddles at the end of the day. She is house trained & crate trained, and does well when left alone with no separation anxiety. Lily has professional training and knows a strong set of commands, including sit, down, stay, place, break (release), heel, & focus. She walks nicely on a leash. She is friendly with adults & has been loving in her interactions with all people she meets. Lily will do best in a home where she is the only pet & without young children. She has shown resource guarding behaviors, particularly around food, trash, & toys, & has had challenges interacting with other dogs. She needs an experienced, patient owner to manage these behaviors with structure & consistency. Due to her behavioral needs & our young children, we are not able to provide the environment that will set Lily up for long-term success. Our priority is finding her a safe, stable home where she can thrive.
