Chip is a great dog. He plays with our other dogs, is housebroken, good with cats and loves to cuddle on the bed. His last owner was not great and did some terrible things and left him in the mountains during the coldest winter storm. He has overcome quite a lot since we rescued him from the side of the road. He is timid and takes time trusting people. He still can think a hand will hit him so he requires a human who will work with him gently and love him. He has come such a long way, he plays and thinks he is the cutest of all the dogs. His only flaw is that he has killed some of my chickens. I raise meat birds and egg layers so this has made things more difficult. He has not had any interaction with my birds for over three months so maybe this won't be such a big thing any more however with spring here baby chicks can get through fencing etc and it would be best if there were no chickens or ducks in his new home. If you would like to meet chip please reach out. He will win your heart over as he has done even when he wouldn't trust us. He is such a good boy and is ready for his human to bond completely and forever.
