About Stephen

*Urgent* Stephen is a gentle giant!! At about 127 pounds, he'd love to find his forever home or a safe foster who will rescue him from the shelter. He is at the San Bernardino Animal Shelter, and may be up for euthanasia soon. He was adopted briefly but returned due incompatibility with cats, and though kept separated due to kennel cough, the adopters' other dog was aggressive towards poor Stephen, who did not show reactivity. Previous adopter reports Stephen did well with adults and children age 10 and up, was a real sweetie walking reasonably well on leash and was very social with the family. He is currently under treatment for kennel cough, and would love to have some tender loving care in someone's home and to be safe from euthanasia.
