This handsome 2-year-old neutered male chocolate Labrador Retriever is looking for a loving forever home after being owner-surrendered. His previous owners, who were breeders, made the difficult decision to rehome him due to their age and inability to continue caring for their dogs. He is an extremely sweet and gentle boy with a very submissive nature, especially around people. He thrives on human companionship and truly just wants to be close to his people at all times. He walks beautifully on a leash with little to no pulling, making him a great companion for daily walks and outings. He does not display any food or toy guarding behaviors with humans and has a calm, easygoing demeanor. Interestingly, he has not yet learned how to play with toys, but with patience and encouragement, he may begin to explore this over time. For the best fit, he should be placed in a home with female dog(s) only, as this is where he is most comfortable. Overall, this loving, loyal boy is ready to bring warmth and companionship to a home that will give him the attention and care he deserves.
