About French Fry

Hi. My name is French Fry. I'm ten weeks old. A little pittie mix girl. And I'm still figuring out how I got here. My start in life wasn't very kind. I was was traded to a gas station clerk for $100 and a pack of cigarettes. When I got to the Angel Dog Alliance, I was rmalnourished and full of parasites. I was really skinny and didn't feel very good. My body was tired. My belly hurt. But someone decided I did matter. Now I have food. Real food. Warm meals that help me grow strong. I'm gaining weight, my body is healing, and every day I feel a little more like a normal puppy. And you know what I've learned? I love people. I don't believe in being afraid or upset. I just lean in, wag my tail, and soak up every bit of love I can get. If you pick me up, I melt. If you talk to me, I listen. If you cuddle me, I might fall asleep right there in your arms. I'm good with kids. I'm good with dogs. I'm even good with cats. I just want to be close. To feel safe. To belong. Now that I'm starting to feel better, my puppy side is coming out. Little bursts of play. Tiny zoomies. Curious sniffs of the world around me. It's all new, and I'm ready for it. What I really want is a home that will love me the way I should have been loved from the very beginning. A place where I'll always have food, safety, and someone to hold me when I need it. I'm small.
