Nala is a young, incredibly smart mama dog who survived on her own in Pecos, raising eight puppies without a home. Two kind women began feeding Nala and her pups, and although she was shy, she showed she was willing to trust and accept help. Now Nala is in Albuquerque in a temporary spot-but she urgently needs a forever home. She is adapting well to indoor life! She loves neighborhood walks and is drawn to children. Nala is a total snuggle bug; she loves attention and to share space wherever her human is. She is not high-energy or destructive and is housebroken. Her puppies have all been taken in by rescues in Colorado, but sadly, none were able to take Nala. We couldn't leave her behind to fend for herself, so PACA Dog Rescue stepped in to give her a chance at the life she deserves. At our adoption event this past Saturday, Nala showed just how much potential she has. Though a little reserved at first, she quickly learned that people mean kindness-approaching for gentle pets and beginning to relax more and more as the day went on. Nala is ready for her next chapter-a safe, loving home where she can continue to build trust and finally be cared for the way she's always deserved. But we can't do it without you. If you're interested in meeting Nala, come to our adoption event on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11am-2pm, located at 6300 San Mateo NE in the south Sprouts parking lot. Alternatively, we can arrange a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with a completed application. Complete an easy, no-obligation online application and take the first step towards welcoming Nala into your home by clicking on this link https://form.jotform.com/222028369049155 The $250 adoption fee covers all vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, and heartworm/tick-borne illness testing.
