Due to being left here by my human and considered a longer-term doggie (arrived Jan. 18th), am at risk of being euthanized, when the shelter gets over-capacity, which it often does. I will then be dumped into a black, plastic garbage bag..., no one or very few will mourn me. One person can change that path, please be that one person, come meet me. I don't know why left at the shelter, since am a very good boy. I like to stay close to the volunteers, since am afraid, so loud here with so many doggies barking while in the kennels, not a home, so different from everything I have ever known, scary. I may look like a toughie, but am not, am very gentle. Have met some doggies here on leash, am the timid type, was polite. When in doggie playgroup/off leash, do well, and am less afraid, like running around and playing with the other doggies. Cats are a possibility with me, with proper introductions. I am not young, but not old either, only 7, have good spunk. Have a lot of years left in me, a lot of love yet to give in those years. Please, please, come meet me. Maybe take me home? I will feel safe with you, will be safe with you, not be afraid anymore. Am a good boy. Come. If want to see other wonderful doggies, besides ME, at Chicago Animal Care and Control, who are also in great need of finding a loving home, just scroll down and click on, 'Chicago Animal Care and Control'. Come.
