About Kasha

Shih Tzu mix
Age: Senior
Sex: Female

Meet Kasha !! Sweet, easy and loving girl!! Sadly her owner fell on hard times and surrendered her and her friend Kooper(posted separately) to a local shelter. She seems to have came from a place where she was very spoiled and loved. She is looking for the same in her new home. Kasha is approx. 12 years old. She is a female and weighs 8.2 pounds and is full grown. She is supposed to be a Shih tzu type mix. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She is thankfully heartworm negative and on monthly preventions. She will need a dental cleaning which will be included with her adoption. Kasha is really a sweet little dog. She's very low key and doesn't require much from her owners. She is clearly used to the good life. She seems happy just to have a soft space to relax and watch the world go by. She has been good with her training so far. She is leash trained. He has been doing great with her potty training. She's nervous on car rides and pants a lot but doesn't get sick. She is crate trained but really doesn't like it at all. She does fine left out in the house without a crate. Overall she is easy to have around. Kasha is great around everyone she meets. She has been loving and sweet with kids as well. As with any dog, she does need to be with kids that don't treat her like a toy. She is fine around other dogs of any size but really doesn't care if there's another dog in the home or not. She isn't fostered with cats but her previous owner said she was fine with them. She currently has a very low energy level. She loves to be with you but wants to just lounge around wherever you are. She is happy to follow you around and just share the same space as you. A few blankets, dog beds or a comfy couch and she's happy. Kasha has not had any trouble sharing food, treats or toys with humans or other dogs. She's a gentle and sweet dog. They don't get much easier than this girl. Sweet, trained and very low key. A wonderful little lady. She will need regular grooming. This requires time to get her to and from the appointments and additional expenses to pay for it. On average a dog of this breed will need grooming every 6 weeks. This should be fully considered prior to applying to adopt her. Vet and home checks required. Located in Hampton VA. (He will need to be adopted within a 1 hour drive radius) '%BC%8FPlease message [email protected] directly with questions or to get an application.
