About Mona

American Staffordshire Terrier mix
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Sweet Mona needs help! This beautiful girl was brought in to a rural high kill shelter over a year ago. She sat and waited for a family to adopt her, but no one did. When kennels ran out, Mona was added to the euthanasia list. I found a foster home for her, but they could only keep her for about a month. From there a generous boarding facility agreed to take her in to keep her safe. Mona has been there ever since waiting to be in a home. At this point, Mona is now 7.5 years old. She deserves better. She is 72 lbs, adores people and has been friendly with other dogs. I will be taking care of her vetting and spay before adoption. My hope is that someone can open their home and heart to sweet Mona. She has waited too long. Please text me asap on 919-624-0059 if you can help. Transport is available to your area.
