I rescued this boy back in December from being dumped in a field. He was scared so had to be trapped and I fostered him for 6 weeks and since then he's been living with my brothers family ready for his forever home! What I know about him: We believe him to be an English shepherd or Australian shepherd mix. About 1.5-2 years young. Only 40 lbs. He's almost fully house broke but occasionally will have an accident if not watched and taken out appropriately. He's active and playful, loves other dogs, has been around older kids and a baby but would do best with kids over 12. Have not had him around cats so unknown. He lived with a herd of cattle for a month and lived amongst them and protected them, have also had him around horses and he's cautious and behaves. He's very spoiled and very cuddly but has his limits. He is a very sensitive dog, kind but can be fearful at times. Loves to go on walks and chase the tennis ball and chew up his toys but gets very anxious in the car where he's drooling excessively but has gotten better the few months we've had him. He's a family dog but does better with one on one or a couple as he gets overwhelmed easy. Best fit for him would be: -A person or couple who are retired or not gone more than a few hours a day -someone who is very patient and has experience with dogs, even better with cattle dog breeds -someone who has a large fenced yard or property -someone who will have him with them all the time in the house or out on the property -someone or a couple who is pretty mellow and doesn't get overly excited to overwhelm him -wants to take him on walks -buys him lots of toys -main thing someone who is patient and willing to get him the training he needs! Adoption fee negotiable, just want the best home he deserves it
