About Priya

Please, help me. Am in danger when the shelter gets over-capacity, which happens often, since am considered a longer-term doggie, besides being left here by my human, so high on the list of being euthanized, to be no more. I will then be dumped in a black trash bag..., with no one remembering I ever existed. I don't know why left at the shelter, since am a very good boy. I am what is called mature, am 7 years old. It's a great age, done with all the puppy/teen stuff, but still have good spunk, which I do have. The volunteers say I have plenty of playful energy left and am a genuinely sweet soul. I like it when the volunteers cuddle me, since a little afraid of being here, not a home. Am lonely here, mostly in my kennel all alone, since so many doggies here, not enough volunteers, to take us out much. I know my sit, very well. Got lucky and was able to play in doggie playgroup, do well. Please come visit me. I can show you my spunk and my sweet soul. Maybe take me home? Come. Human speaking here, please, please, if have the ability to adopt, even foster (different process-which I can explain), Priya, any of the dogs listed at the shelter on here, many more that aren't listed, come out to Chicago Animal Care and Control, to meet them. These dogs aren't 'just' at risk of being euthanized, tragic on its own, but spend most of their time in their kennels, tragedy upon a tragedy, to be caged up so much. It shows what great dogs they are, that they are able to still continue to be great, even though caged up so much. Please, come out.
