About Pierre

Pierre is a 5 year old French Bulldog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Bright, affectionate, and full of charm, he truly thrives on being close to his people. Pierre loves companionship and wants nothing more than to be part of a family where he can soak up attention and give plenty of love in return. He has an easygoing and playful nature, making him a joy to be around. While he is not a big barker, he stays alert enough to let you know when something is going on, making him a great little watchdog. Pierre does not require a lot of exercise and is perfectly happy lounging indoors or enjoying some time outside. He would do well in an apartment or a home with a secure fenced yard. Pierre walks well on a leash and enjoys his outings, though he would benefit from a little continued practice to polish his leash manners. He is a quick learner and eager to please, which makes training a rewarding experience. At night, Pierre sleeps soundly in his crate and settles in nicely. He is very people oriented and does best in a home where someone is around most of the time. Being left alone for long periods can make him anxious, so he is looking for a family who can give him the companionship he craves. Pierre does well with older children, as well as with both men and women. He has been around cats but has not been formally tested. He seems to have a more confident, alpha personality and has not yet been fully evaluated with other dogs. Pierre is ready to find a loving home where he can be a loyal companion, a couch buddy, and a cherished member of the family.
