Meet Moon (aka MooMooMoon) Breed: Dachshund mix Age: 8 years young Some dogs sparkle. Moon glows. Soft, steady, and full of quiet charm, she's the kind of companion who doesn't demand the spotlight�'�| but somehow becomes the heart of the whole home anyway. Moon is incredibly sweet and gentle, with a temperament that feels like a warm blanket on a rainy day. She's wonderful with children and has done especially well with her autistic foster kid, showing just how intuitive and calm she truly is. She gets along beautifully with other animals too, as long as everyone respects normal doggy boundaries. Don't let her age fool you. This little lady still has plenty of pep in her step. She's spry, curious, and always ready to join in on daily life�'�| especially if it involves treats or her sacred weekly pup cup tradition every Friday. At home, Moon is a world-class cuddler. Blankets, beds, cozy corners�'�| if it's soft, she's in it. And if you start giving booty scratches, just know you've officially become her favorite human. That's her kryptonite. She's also wonderfully communicative. Need to know when it's dinner time or potty time? Don't worry, Moon will politely but clearly let you know. She's got her routine and she sticks to it like a pro. Moon does prefer her meals with a little flair. She'll eat dry kibble, but she'd really love a topper or some wet food mixed in to keep things interesting. A girl has standards. Her one tiny quirk? Mani-pedis are not her favorite activity. But honestly, who among us truly enjoys them? Moon would thrive in just about any home. Whether you're experienced or brand new to dog ownership, have a busy schedule or a quiet one, she adapts with ease. She's the definition of low-drama, high-love.
