About Jutta

Meet Jutta! She was rescued heavily pregnant, abused and neglected. She had 10 beautiful puppies who have all been adopted and are thriving! Her foster family initially planned to adopt her but have discovered that she is too anxious to live in a toddler household. Jutta is a deeply affectionate dog and loves to give gentle hugs (standing in her back legs!), kisses and to cuddle on the couch. She is athletic and loves to chase a frisbee or ball but is not high energy at all and is content to be a couch potato for most of the day. She walks well on the leash and travels great in the car. She absolutely LOVES other dogs of any size, age or temperament. She currently lives with two small dogs and loves to wrestle with them. She is respectful of cats and does not chase them and ignores the chickens and livestock she lives with. While she loves all people and children, she can not live in a household with children under 10, as she becomes too anxious and occasionally reactive. Jutta is still healing from her previous abusive life and has anxiety. She can break out of standard dog crates, but is fine left alone in the house as long as it is 'dog-proof'. She will help herself to any food left out. Jutta is not even 2 years old, fully vetted and currently being treated for heart worms.
