About Nicholas

NICHOLAS came to the shelter with his brother Klaus who is also is here looking for his forever home. These brother have endured a life we never want to see. Nicholas is only 1 years old, but he already carries a lifetime of stories on his body. Scars mark his face and his skin silent reminders of a past we can only imagine. Whatever he went through, it wasn't kind. And yet, Nicholas is still here. Still waiting. Still hoping someone will choose him. Like so many all black dogs, Nicholas is being overlooked. People pass by his kennel every day without stopping, without meeting his eyes, without knowing the gentle soul inside. Black dogs wait longer. They fade into the background. And Nicholas is starting to do just that. He's not asking for much just a quiet home, a patient heart, and someone who will finally make him feel safe. Someone who won't give up on him. Please don't let him lose his chance at a happy ending. Let's not allow this good boy to fade away in a kennel when all he wants is a place to belong.
