About Klaus

KLAUS is only 4 years old, but as bad as his past was he holds no ill will. He is sweet and has a kind sprit that is willing to learn and wanting to please his human. We shared a video of him on Feb 17 and he didn't even know sit! With just a little help from his friends he has learned sit and come and not to jump on his friends. Someone just had to show him what to do and he is so happy to learn and please his human. Klaus is here, still waiting still hoping someone will choose him. He is a smart boy but no one ever took the time to show him what to do or what was expected of him! Like so many Black dogs, Klaus is being overlooked. People pass his kennel every day without stopping, without meeting his eyes, without knowing the gentle soul inside. Black dogs wait longer, they fade into the background, and Klaus is starting to do that. Klaus would do best as the only pet. He is not asking for much just a quiet home, a patient heart, and someone who will finally make him feel safe. Someone who won't give up on him. Please don't let him lose his chance at a happy ending. Let's not allow this good boy to fade away in a kennel when all he wants is a place to belong
