Milo is an adorable 11-month-old puppy, radiating joy and affection in a compact 34-pound frame. His warm, expressive eyes and wagging tail reflect his loving personality and eagerness to connect with those around him. As a neutered pup, he is up-to-date on all vaccinations and has tested negative for heartworm and Lyme disease. He is also microchipped, ensuring a safe return if he ever gets lost. Although Milo has not yet made any canine friends at the shelter, his enthusiastic greetings to other dogs as he walks by show his friendly nature. He is a quick learner, eager to please, and has almost mastered the 'sit' command, showcasing his intelligence and willingness to engage with training. Milo has smoothly adapted to the shelter's routine, even learning to sit patiently on his bed while waiting for mealtime. Outdoors, Milo's playful spirit shines as he delights in running around and soaking up the sun's warmth, embodying the essence of puppy happiness. He has a welcoming disposition and approaches everyone with a wagging tail, ready to make new friends. However, he can be a bit timid around abrupt movements, so a home with older children who can interact gently with him would be ideal. Please note that we are not a no-kill shelter, and we must make tough decisions regarding animals who are ill or aggressive. **Adoption Fees: ** - $165 for dogs under 5 years old - $100 for dogs over 5 years old - $200 for cell dogs. Your adoption fee covers vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella), microchipping, heartworm and Lyme testing, rabies vaccination, spay/neuter, and a dog license. All dogs must be spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter; if this hasn't been done, we'll schedule an appointment for you. **Payment: ** We accept cash only-no checks, debit, or credit cards, please.
