She was just a tiny puppy when she and her siblings were found abandoned on the side of the road�'�| inside a plastic tote. Left there like they didn't matter. Two of her siblings found homes. But Pheasant�'�| stayed behind. Now she is 2 years old. And she is still waiting. Pheasant is gentle, quiet, and incredibly soft-hearted - but the shelter life is all she has ever known. It made her fearful. She doesn't understand that people can be safe. She avoids eye contact. When touched, she freezes�'�| not because she doesn't want love - but because she doesn't know what it is yet. And that breaks us. Because we know�'�| somewhere inside her, there is a beautiful dog just waiting to feel safe. ���� She is great with dogs ���� Good with cats ���� Needs a calm, patient home ���� Would do best with another confident dog to guide her She doesn't need perfection.
