About Dexter

Dexter is a sweet, playful, and affectionate boy who's ready to find a loving home of his own. This high-energy guy absolutely loves to stretch his legs, run around the yard, and soak up all the attention he can get. He approaches people with a loose, wiggly body, gentle tail wags, and happily leans in for full-body pets - he's truly a love bug at heart. Dexter enjoys walks, yard time, and enrichment activities like scent games, frozen Kongs, and to shred toys. He knows the command 'sit,' house-broken, crate trained, and has lived comfortably indoors with both adults and children. Dexter is very sweet, friendly, and playful. He is very treat motivated, enjoys belly rubs, plays fetch. Dexter would thrive with an adopter who can provide regular exercise, structure, and positive outlets for his energy. Dexter can be selective with other dogs so slow introductions would be recommended. He has been able to coexist and even play with dog friends. An adopter who is comfortable managing dog interactions and continuing positive introduction would be recommended.
